Being from Toronto myself, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Toronto-based designer showing on the west coast (yay)! Just looking at the backstage photos prior to the runway show was enough to know that the Ginger Martini S/S 2013 line is all about sweet treats and a whole lot of fun!

I loved that as each girl came down the runway, they offered up a sweet treat to someone in the audience. How fun! It’s no coincidence that this line is named “Yummy”.
What struck me as incredible is the translation of fun, girly, yumminess in every piece. This collection has you covered no matter what. Need a sparkly cocktail dress? Check. Fun shorts for a day at the beach? Double check (with glittery hearts on the back, no less)! Looking for a gown for an evening out at the theatre? No doubt Ginger’s got you covered!
