I’m currently back in Toronto spending some quality time with my family and friends. I can’t imagine what it would be like to spend the holidays away from the people that I love the most. This year made it obvious that for as long as I live away from family, I can’t justify buying or decorating a Christmas tree here in Seattle. It just doesn’t feel the same to keep these traditions when I don’t spend the holidays in my own apartment. (On the bright side, this means I get to go home and reap the benefits of a tree that is already fully decorated and not have to worry about the take-down in January! hehe)
