Go Huskies!

Welcome to 2013! I’m still working on my list of goals for the year that I will share later in the month, but I’ve already been able to cross something off!

Despite living in Washington for over a year now, I had never ventured onto the UW campus until recently. I had driven past it a handful of times but never stopped by to look. I don’t know if it’s because university campuses make me feel old or if I was worried my old habits of wearing sweatpants as a daily uniform would come back to haunt me, but I’m glad I finally ventured onto this beautiful campus! Here’s to checking off places to visit in Seattle from my 2013 list.

The first (and my favourite) stop was the library. Oh gosh… The UW library is HUGE! I’ve visited the Berkeley and Sanford libraries before, but I don’t remember either of those libraries having such elaborate staircases. (I do remember the Sanford library to be big enough to the point of getting tired after walking around a couple floors…maybe I’ll revisit someday to make a fair comparison with UW’s).
