Loving: Board games. In the last 4 months, my friends have introduced me to more board games than I think I’ve played in my lifetime (ok, maybe I’m over exaggerating a bit… 7 new games is still a lot to learn in such a short amount of time). Adding to my list of favourites: Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, Catch Phrase (not a board game, but still really fun!), and Food Fight.
Reading: No book for this month, but I have been reading a lot of Pinstrosity these day. Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like: An incredible blog dedicated to Pinterest inspired projects that turn out to be more of a disaster that the beautiful pinned photos. haha!
Watching: Aside from Project Runway All Stars (the finale is so soon!), I’ll be jumping on the Bachelor bandwagon this season! I’m excited for the first episode to air tonight and you can bet I’ll be tuning in every week to see who gets eliminated. Sean was one of my favourites from Emily’s season of Bachelorette and I was a little bitter when she didn’t give him a rose. After seeing how her relationship with Jef panned out, I’m happy to see that Sean’s getting another chance to ~*~find love~*~.
Anticipating: Season 2 of Girls to start!! Ahhhhhh this needs to happen NOW!
Listening to: Light Up by Sucré. I first fell in love with Sucré sometime in March of 2012 but I somehow lost track of them and only recently reconnected with their music. Stacy’s voice is just so pure and… angelic. I’m actually at a loss for words to describe how perfect her voice is.
Planning: Lunch/dinner for the rest of the week. One of my goals for 2013 is to cook at least 3 times a week. I was pretty good about cooking at home in 2012, except when I got completely overwhelmed with life in November and December and dined out almost every day. (I’m so embarrassed to have just admitted to this…)
Working on: Finishing up the list of personal goals for 2013! I didn’t have very elaborate goals in 2012 and only managed to achieve two of the three by the end of the year. Even though granular “to do” type lists can get long and seem overwhelming, I think I’m going to suck it up and try writing one and sticking to it this year!
