Everything in transit

I can’t thank you guys enough for your support and votes in the Cotton 24 Hour Runway Challenge in the last week. I can’t tell you how crazy it was to wake up to see 1000+ votes after the first couple days, and now to see more than double that! You guys are absolutely incredible and I honestly feel so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to take part in this contest and know that there are so many wonderful people out there supporting my quirky style!

Aside from keeping my *fingers crossed* about the contest results (no idea when the first round of head-to-head battles are over), I’ve been cleaning up my apartment in an attempt to take more indoor outfit photos. Despite the sunny skies outside, it’s cold as ever these days. Ok, I lied. It’s only about -1°C (something like 30°F?) which used to feel “warm” in a typical Toronto winter, but Seattle has spoiled me and now I think anything below 5°C is too cold.

:) Trust me, cold is my middle name! Here in Romania there are -13° C in the morning…Oddly enough, winter didn’t seem so cold when I was a kid, but now, I’m bundled up in 3 layers of warm clothes and still freezing :).

    I love your tights!

    Kisses,

I can’t tell you how much I love the photos on your blog! Seems like the snowy backdrop is a nice compromise for the cold weather ;)

I NEED this bag! Adorable! Also diggin’ your tights…if we were the same size, I might try to sneak into your closet for a bit of shopping! ;)

I actually found these tights on Ebay for less than what I paid! It was like $5 or something with free shipping.
As for the bag… oh my gosh. I can’t tell you how much I love it. The illusion of a 2-D bag is such a dream! Most people are pretty surprised by how much it can actually hold!

Oh my gosh that bag doesn’t even look real! lol I’m going to have to find one of those…

JumpFromPaper just opened an online store in the US! They used to only sell online in Asia and a couple of hand-picked stores in the US carried their bags.
The Travel Fever one can be found here: http://www.jumpfrompaper.us/travel-fever

You look so adorable in this outfit. I love that bag, too! It looks so neat. I’ve voted for you a few times, and I hope you win!!

Thank you so much, lovely!! I cannot tell you how appreciative I am for all these votes!
Apparently the polls are open until Jan 22, so I’m hoping there’s still a chance I can catch up to my competition to make up for the ~700 vote gap right now.

Thanks so much for the support, Sheila!

I can’t wait for the collaborations Target’s going to release this year. I’m still sad I missed out on the Jason Wu collection. The dresses were soooo nice.

My first time visiting your blog. You’re so pretty and I love how that bag looks.

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment! *blushes*
I’m glad we “met”! I really like your blog too– especially all the food posts. I’ll admit it. i’m all about the food! ;)

You are so cute! I love this outfit and the bag is so cool, it almost doesn’t look real haha

I know, right? The bag design is just so smart. I was surprised to find that I could fit my netbook in there (the bag can extend in the back) and still look like it’s 2D!

Every time I see you use that bag, it makes me realize that much more that I need to get one myself. Good thing school just started up and I need a new bag!

I wish Jump From Paper existed while I was in school! It would be the perfect bag to tote around notebooks or a small laptop.

  • erica

I hope you did well in the contest!
I voted for youuuu (of course).

And haha, I’m kind of jealous that you
picked that Jump for Paper bag! That
    was my second choice.

I suppose I can live vicariously through you.

Yay! Thanks for voting! I think the polls for round 1 close on the 22 and you can vote daily. I’m about 900 votes behind (sad face) but I think there’s still hope to make it to the next round.

I really like the Travel Fever, but I wish I had picked a bag with longer straps (like yours). The Travel Fever is perfect for work, but it’s not that practical to take grocery shopping since I already don’t have enough hands for the groceries, let alone a purse.

Thanks for stopping by, Jessica! I absolutely love your girly, chic style!

Thanks Jamie!! I just read your post on scooters and wrote a really long comment, but I don’t know if it got lost when I tried to post it… :(
