Very, very extraordinary

It’s true… I enjoy Valentine’s Day more than I like to admit. I’ve been planning Valentine’s week posts since the beginning of January because that’s how excited I’ve been to paint my week full of red and pink and hearts and all sorts of other ridiculousness.

outfit details:
lace dress & belt: Forever 21
blazer: H&M
heels: Target (exact and on clearance!)
knee socks: c/o Soxxy (exact)
purse: Korean boutique
necklace: Groopdealz
watch: Vincent Camuto (exact)

More than anything, I’m excited to hand out Valentine’s Day cards. Pretty sure my excitement level is like that of an 8 year old’s who’s about to hand out Valentine’s Day cards to everyone in a classroom… haha! After spending a Friday night with friends prepping cards (turns out I’m not the only one who loves Valentine’s Day a ton!!), it feels good to finally release these origami cats and hearts into the wild. The puns on the cards are pretty lame, but hey, I never claimed to be punny. hehe

Whether or not you are a fan of Valentine’s Day, I hope you have an amazing Thursday!

  • This is kind of hilarious, but I basically wore this outfit but reversed on Valentines Day: a tangerine lace dress with a white blazer. And black tights and black wedge booties. I guess we can agree that we have good style? I’d think so. :)

  • That blazer fits you peeeeerrrrrfectly! I love the combo of hard and soft going on – I could never pull it off. Your hair looks fabulous (as always!)

    • You could definitely rock a hard and soft combo– especially with your killer collection of blazers and cardigans!!

Valentines is one of my favorites. As are puns. I couldn’t help but chuckle.

  • Definitely lucked out with this F21 dress– a friend had originally bought it was it was too long for her, and I had bought another dress which was too short, so we swapped. :)

I think the shoes are still on clearance on the Target site. They’re really comfortable considering the height of the heel. I didn’t have high expectations for $17 shoes, but they’ve been a favourite on high rotation.

  • ok those Valentine’s are truly adorable! I don’t really have a big opinion on Valentine’s day. I like it just fine, no negative feeling about it or anything, but i just don’t get overly excited about it. I think maybe if I made or got precious valentines like those I might be more jazzed about it! haha Also that blazer is to die for.
