Hi everyone! My name is Katrina and this is my blog, the demure muse. I am twenty-something year old lady residing just outside the bustling city of Toronto. As much as I would like to call Toronto home, I’ve been moving around from Toronto to Vancouver to Seattle and the likes of the west coast for the past few years.

To keep myself occupied during those times when I’m not panicking to pack all my belongings into two suitcases, I like to craft. I’ve been told that I enjoy the most granny-like hobbies of all time (knitting and sewing), but I also like to bust out the pliers every now and then to make jewelry for my line, anirtak.

On top of all this craziness, I’ve recently started to learn to break through the limits of my wardrobe and try and develop a sense of personal style. (Years of being in university and living in the library until 2am every night – even Fridays – forced me to become best friends with sweat pants and hoodies!)
